This shampoo bar is formulated for normal to oily hair.
Our all-natural shampoo bars have all the cleaning properties of liquid shampoo, but in bar form. There are no artificial foaming agents, or detergents to strip your hair of it's natural oil; no parabens or sodium laurel sulfate. It's simply soap that is made specificially for cleaning hair.
To use a shampoo bar, simply rub the bar gently on the top and sides of your head, and then rub the resultant suds into your scalp as you would any shampoo. Don't rub the soap into the ends of long hair, as this can cause tangling; when you rinse the suds out, they will run through the rest of your hair cleaning as they go.
*Note* If you find that your hair feels slightly waxy after using a natural shampoo, it is likely due to minerals in your water (also known as hard water). If this happens, rinsing your hair with a small amount of diluted vinegar or lemon juice will restore the pH and get rid of that waxy feeling. We generally advise using a dilution of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water... You can simply pour it over your hair, OR you can use a spray bottle. Many people have found that conditioner isn't necessary when using this method.
Ingredients: Sodium Olivate, Aqua, Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Sheabutterate, Sodium Castorate, Rosemarinus officinalis oil, Mentha piperita oil, Mentha viridis oil, Spirulina maxima powder
